Voice dictation: AI writes notes while you prune
What was done
Integration of a "Dictate" button in the capture form: the audio recording is sent to an AI transcription model (via the Lovable AI gateway), and the note is transcribed into clean text, in French, directly into the notes field. Viticultural vocabulary — varieties, diseases, operations — is correctly transcribed, and dictation also works to complete an existing record.
Client benefit
Hands stay free and clean: a nuanced remark ("start of veraison on south-facing vines, clusters still hard in the center") is captured with all its richness, where a form alone would have discouraged precision. Fine observation, which makes all the difference in biodynamics, is no longer lost for lack of a keyboard.
